Eid is almost here and even though it has been a subdued Ramadan, designers around the kingdom are unveiling their collections for this festive time.

Bahrain-based fashion label Moda Vestire has brought in a unique fusion Eid selection for the modern fashion-conscious affluent woman, featuring deep pastel colours with intricate hand-embroidery, with an emphasis on comfort and style.

Moda Vestire, which was founded by husband and wife duo Adnan and Nazia Mustafa, includes a range of Middle-Eastern, Indo-Pak and Asian clothing that is just as comfortable to wear at home, as it is fashionable for a drive around the city or a small get-together at home.

Nazia told GulfWeekly: “This year, we have introduced a range of new and rejuvenated styles including flare sleeves, bell sleeves, plaited pants and fringe jackets. In terms of accessories, we are introducing a range of hand bags, jackets, belts and ‘Juttis’ (traditional Indian footwear). We have something for every wardrobe, with lots of fusion, traditional and modern outfits and accessories.

“My personal favourite is the range of hand-painted pure silk organza sarees that we have just introduced. Organza fabric is one of the best-looking silks with a powerful feminine allure. The organza fabric gives a royal appeal. From the golden era to present times, organza has been fashionable, charismatic and synonymous with luxury. Despite its smooth and delicate appearance, organza is actually quite a strong fabric. A typically modest weave can be immediately recognised with its sheer fabric and heavy fall.”

During the Covid-19 crisis, due to public health restrictions, the brand has seen a decline in foot traffic at their Juffair store but they have recently launched their online store, where people can check out the different looks, create their wishlist and have their orders delivered at home for a nominal charge.

The multi-brand store, which was recently featured on Bahrain International TV, is also starting to leverage social media to expand its market across the GCC and bring dresses ranging from traditional chikankari to nouveau western-eastern evening blends, as well as accessories to complement every look.

Nazia added: “We have some wonderful chikankari kurtas and gowns that are extremely comfortable for every occasion. We are adapting our offerings to the current situation, so that even when at home, people can enjoy fashionable and comfortable wear, that is ideal for spring and summer ahead.”

This is the right time to slip into a Moda Vestire outfit as the fashion label is also running a 30% promotion on its latest collection. Check out their online store by visiting vestirebh.com or following them on Instagram: @vestirebh.
