With the summer heat approaching, but not yet in full swing, a huge field of Awali golfers took to the desert course, laying siege to the title of Bud Lite Medal Winner.
Salah Musbah beat both the chasing pack and his brother, Ali, to claim the overall winning position with an excellent score of net 65.
Khaled Salem won the best gross with 70, beating three other players on countback.
At the prizing giving ceremony, Club Captain, Bill Scarth, thanked BMMI for its sponsorship, now into its 42nd year.
Amazingly the club’s senior barman, Ashok, has also been serving thirsty players for 42 years. As a demonstration of the members’ appreciation a raffle was held and all proceeds were given to the dedicated worker.
