Exam season. The bane of every student’s existence. The cause of sleepless nights, sitting for hours on end with countless books, attempting to digest as much information possible.

The onset of exams has seen an amusing trend amongst my peers, with many professing to be fatigued and stressed out, having worked hours on end.

I don’t suffer from these symptoms. No, for me my biggest foe in this battle is procrastination.

Yes, I belong to that group of people who struggle to even get started in the first place.

Don’t get me wrong, I really want to do well and get excellent grades. I’m not wary of hard work. But it’s so hard to sit down and get to work in the first place when you know you’ve still got an episode of How to Get Away with Murder to catch up on. And, then when you’ve finished that, there’s that new novel that’s been sitting on your bookshelf for months. And, then there are all the new uploaded videos on your subscribed YouTube channels.

What’s the pressure? I’m sure there’s enough time to sit down and finish everything.

I really need to change.
