We’d like to congratulate the concierge team at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay for having three officially recognised Les Clefs d’Or members. This ranks the hotel as the most qualified concierge team in the Middle East.

Mabrook to chef concierge Khalil Al Yaman, concierge agent Saleha Al Wazzan and concierge supervisor Ali Radhi who are wearing their golden Les Clefs d’Or badges proudly. The trio now comprise the Middle East’s most heralded concierge team. No other hotel in the region has three Les Clefs d’Or concierge members.

We are really honoured to have three Les Clefs d’Or members that present hotel guests the very best insights into exploring extraordinary Bahrain. Khalil is the founder and re-elected president of the Bahrain Hotels Concierge Group and Saleha is the first female Bahraini Les Clefs d’Or concierge member. Ali received the coveted golden Les Clefs d’Or keys last year making him the first Bahraini national to accomplish this amazing feat.

Richard Raab,

General manager of Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay

Editor’s note: We’d also like to congratulate the team on such an amazing feat and are thrilled to have showcased Saleha in last week’s issue.

We are working closely with our partners in the public and private sectors to promote the kingdom in different countries in order to drive inbound tourism, further developing the tourism sector and the national economy as a whole. Through this event, we have been able to meet with various tour operators and tourism agencies to discuss the kingdom’s tourism offerings, further promoting Bahrain as a global tourist destination.

Keeping in line with this strategy to strengthen the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as a top tourist destination, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority 9BTEA) in collaboration with Gulf Air and the Bahrain Merida Cycling Team organised a promotional event on the heels of the Tour de France 2018. The event was held in the presence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in France Dr Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar.

The participation of the Bahrain Merida Cycling Team in international tournaments will further promote the Bahraini tourism product on a global scale. This has enabled us to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain during an international event of a high caliber.

Yousef Al Khan,

Director of Tourism Marketing and Promotions at BTEA

I’d like to thank the Muharraq Club for all their efforts over the years and express my gratitude and love to the club. I also would like to thank and appreciate Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, the first deputy president of Muharraq Club for his constant interest in developing the younger generation into the athletes you see today and supporting existing athletes. He always believed in their talent and paved the way for many stars.

Some of the players he encouraged and supported in the past have signed up with clubs in Bahrain and around the world such as midfielder Mohammed Al-Hardan who signed a contract with Danish team Vejle Boldklub until the summer of 2020. Meanwhile Diad Sayed and Waleed Al-Hayam are playing in Kuwait, Ashraf Waheed is a goalkeeper for the Manama Club, Mohamed Khaled is now with Busaiteen Club and Mohamed and Talal Al-Na’ar are playing for Al Hala SC. I had the privilege of coaching at the Muharraq Club along with Ali Buzabun and Ali Jaffar. I am proud of this club and how far it has come. They are true champions. Always will be in my book.

A Muharraq Club fan,

Coach Tica Sejfudin
