Gulf Weekly Making strides in the Fintech world

Global FinTech company Allied Wallet and its founder Dr Andy Khawaja have been featured in The CEO Magazine as one of the 10 Most Admired Technology Companies as  it offers various payment solutions in 196 countries around the world.

While the digital payment industry still faces many challenges ahead, corporations are showing the initiative to conquer these difficulties and provide secure, easy to use payment systems that are anything but simple at the core.

Allied Wallet does this by introducing innovative payment processing solutions for online merchants, enabling them to send and receive global payments. With PCI compliant merchant services for nearly any business size, the company provides a state-of-the-art payment gateway to optimise online transactions.

This is why the magazine named them “the new standard in the digital payment landscape.”

“We have always maintained a dedicated effort that leveraged the company’s success to give back to communities all over the world,” Andy, pictured right, said. “It’s important for us to give back. We want to make a positive difference in communities all over the world and give people more opportunities to succeed.”

Andy is a pioneer in the digital payments sector. He founded the company in 2005, offering digital wallets, merchant payment solutions and prepaid card programmes. The business has expanded from its initial West Hollywood, California, location to include offices in global hubs such as Macau, Hong Kong, and London while serving more than 150 million customers around the world.

Aside from his work in the digital payment sector, Andy is a motivational speaker who has given talks and seminars at several international universities such as at Zayed University, Abu Dhabi University and Lebanese American University. He also held talks and seminars at an array of conferences including at the World Lithuanian Youth Summit. His experience in the Middle East has also made him a sought-after consultant on topics related to global banking.

Andy is also a philanthropist having supported nonprofit groups such as the United Service Organisations, Wounded Warrior Project and the Brent Shapiro Foundation. He also organises a range of fundraising initiatives.
