Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen definitely. The lyrics were so true to life...it’s amazing.

What is the best album ever made? Why?
Once again that would have to be Born to Run. The 60s and 70s were periods of great creativity, with pop merging with rock to hard rock and basically everything falling into place in the wake of this musically awe-inspiring period.
