Riffa Golf Club’s 2007 lady captain, Emma Boyd led her team to a clear victory in this month’s Ritz Carlton Ladies Golf competition with a team score of 29.70. Her team consisted of Blandie Mills, Ginette Fawn and Tracy Samson.
In second place was the team of Val Wright, Julie Dixon, Denise Mullen and Alison Camps who achieved a team score of 33.75.
Additional side contest prizes were won by Jan McAlpine (4th hole), Geraldine Kavanagh (7th), Yvonne Anthony (8th) and Maureen Anderson (9th).
The monthly Texas Scramble competition teed off with an 8.15am shotgun start and was very well supported with well over 40 members and guests competing over 9 holes. Prize vouchers sponsored by the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa were presented to the winners by Riffa’s head PGA professional, Scott McCaw.
The next Ritz ladies competition is scheduled to take place at Riffa Golf Club on Wednesday 21st March and is open to all lady golfers.
