Riffa member Chris Cowley narrowly claimed first place overall in the Palm Association’s sixth annual charity golf day with 41 points on count back.
Mike Eastwood and Mike Crandell came second and third respectively, also on 41 points, but with slightly lower scores on the back 9 holes. Debbie Lane was the leading lady in the competition, also with 41 points on count back.
The individual stableford competition was held at Riffa Golf Club and was fully subscribed with well over 100 players taking part. Mohamed Al Sayed won a par 3 shoot out on the 4th hole while a number of prizes were also awarded for the winners of a variety of side contests.
