Sami Kooheji was born on the March 28, 1984 at the Awali Hospital in Bahrain.

He was brought up in Riffa but currently resides in Saar, Budaiya. He completed his studies from the St Christopher’s School and spent a year in the UK doing courses in business and drama. He then continued his education at the Gulf College of Hospitality and Tourism in Bahrain. Sami’s family consists of his brother Adam Kooheji and sister, Dana Kooheji. His parents, Wahad and Anne Kooheji are renowned artists in Bahrain and run the Arabesque Gallery in Umm Al Hassam and the A’Ali Mall which is recognised in the region for its collection of Antique Art of the Middle East.
