BITE 2007 has added a “Study Abroad” section, as one of its key highlights for the event.

Study Abroad is a novel initiative organised by MEEM in association with World Educate Business Association (WEBA) Switzerland at BITE 2007 which aims to offer an opportunity for students from Bahrain and the region to explore various career options for their future education.
“Study Abroad” Exhibitors will include Aberdeen Business School Scotland, American InterContinental University London, American University of Kuwait, DA University UAE, George Mason University UAE, Golf University USA, Griffith College Ireland, IFM University Switzerland, Les Roches – Glion Institute of Higher Education Switzerland, NYIT Jordan, Seneca College Canada, Thanet College Kent, The American International School Salzburg Austria, The Expert Group Bahrain,  The Royal University for Women Bahrain.
The mission of the event is to provide our target group of students with comprehensive, precise and concrete information about studies, career and employment.
WEBA Career Fair conferences are held in Europe, Middle East, Asia and United States.  Commenting on its decision to partner with BITE for the Study Abroad platform, Mr Jimmy Smeraldi, marketing manager, said: “Bahrain has one of the highest literacy rates in the Gulf – above 85 per cent for the adult population.
“Bahrain will serve the learning needs of GCC countries and meet the demands of an emerging generation of globally-attuned Gulf youths. We view BITE, which has in a short span emerged as one of the region’s most significant travel platforms, as a strategic and ideal platform to capitalise on this significant opportunity and are confident that Study Abroad will be a great success, given this backdrop.”
BITE 2007 will be open from 10am to 12.30pm and 4pm to 9pm today and tomorrow at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
Admission is free and the event features attractive daily raffle draws.
