Batelco Training Centre celebrated the completion of one year of successful supported e-learning, with an awards ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa.
About 200 staff members who completed at least one e-learning programme were present to receive their certificate from Batelco senior manager human resources development, Kamal Al Bahrani.
Supported e-learning was introduced by Batelco Training Centre in May last year to offer all staff the opportunity to develop skills in a wide range of areas.
Batelco chief executive Peter Kaliaropoulos said he is proud of the centre’s achievements over the past year.
“Success comes from two things, knowledge and application, and e-learning lets us have information at our fingertips and provides the opportunity to apply that knowledge interactively at our own pace,” he said.
