Gulf Weekly Young Bahrain gymnasts strike gold at Doha competition

CHAOSS Gymnastics Club Bahrain has brought home seven gold, three silvers and seven bronze medals from the recent Inter-Gulf Gymnastics club competition held in Doha, Qatar. 

The competition was divided into three levels of difficulty, Bronze, Silver and Gold with each level having junior and senior entries for boys and girls competing on the floor and vault.
The competition was judged on individual floor, individual vault and overall placements.
There were four clubs represented with over 120 gymnasts competing. 
Coaches Cara, James, Liana, Simona and Leititia are very proud of the achievements that Bahrain team has been able to achieve in such a short time. 
Next year’s Inter Gulf Club competition is likely to be held in Bahrain. 
A club spokesman thanked the sponsors – Caltex, DHL, AXA Insurance, Mohammed Jalal Catering and St Christopher’s School.  “They are instrumental for the team achieving excellent results in this competition and a real encouragement to the many young people in Bahrain who would like to be involved in sporting activities,” she added.
