Dear Stan,
With reference to “It’s OK to be ordinary individuals” published in last week’s GulfWeekly.
An amazing article, finally someone has spoken about this issue!
My personal opinion is that girls worldwide should be educated as to how harmful eating disorders are just like Ismaeel Na’ar thoughtfully wrote. I agree that the most common reason for eating disorders is that teenage girls follow certain celebrities with everything they do – thinking that it is the right way to go. However, though they make up the larger percentage, it is not only girls who suffer from this problem, as boys also pick a male celebrity and try to be like him without knowing how to.
Action must be taken before this becomes an issue with all of our youth. Once again I congradulate Ismaeel Na’ar on a thoughtful, awakening and well-written article.

Dear Stan,
I read -RdS-’s article last week on stopping child abuse – ‘Good touch and the bad touch.’ Unfortunately, I did not find any contact information. I would like to get in touch with the ‘Be Free Centre ‘and maybe provide my services, being a counsellor myself. I would like to know who I would need to contact.
Yours,
