Having translated practically everything a woman says for men to understand, I figure it’s time to do the same for you women out there.

Much as men like to complain that we women never say what we mean, men can be just vague and confusing with the things they say and do. Here’s a little light-hearted but true look at what’s really going on in their very uncomplicated brains.

‘It’s a guy thing’
When a man says “it’s a guy thing” what he really means is that he doesn’t want or can’t be bothered to explain it to you and even if he did, you wouldn’t approve. It inevitably involves much belching, chugging down of beer and crass sexist humour and is usually a way for guys to rebel and exert their masculine authority in the company of other guys without their woman seeing the ugly side of them.
Let your man do his thing and don’t let on you know what he’s up to. Men need to feel in control of their lives and if they can have their guy time every now and then, they’ll generally let you have your own way at other times.
