Scrabble players of all ages in Bahrain, from beginners to top exponents, are invited to take part in a cup competition which starts in October.
There will be two leagues: one competitive and another for those more accustomed to living-room playing.
The playoffs in the competitive league culminate in the 22nd Bahrain cup final. Recreational participants will aim to win the ‘Scrabble mug’ tournament.
Players may enrol this month on Monday evenings, 6.45pm-9.30pm and Friday afternoons, 2pm-6pm, at Yateem Centre, first floor with a competition beginning at 2pm.
