Raffle joy

Bahraini businessman Hani Ahmed Abdulla Ali Kadhem’s luck has changed after a family trip to the LG showroom in Sitra, writes Farishta Saeed.

The BD220 refrigerator bought by Mr Kadhem made him a winner of a shiny Mitsubishi Pajero 2007 model car.
“This is the first time that I have won anything in my life, I hope it won’t be the last though,” he said. “I have never considered myself a lucky person when it came to raffle draws and prizes so when I bought an LG refrigerator I wasn’t expecting to win the car,” he said.
“The raffle coupons were in my car and when the company called me to inform me about the draw I was just so happy that I had not lost them or thrown them away!”
Mr Kadhem, 29, says he is enjoying driving his new BD13,000 machine.
The prize keys from the ‘LG Summer Explosion’ at the LG showroom were handed over to Mr Kadhem by vice-chairman of AJM Kooheji & Sons, Mahmood Kooheji.
The company has staged a successful promotion campaign for LG this summer which has led to two customers driving off in brand new Mistubishi Pajero cars as well as 98 others walking away with super prizes.
