The annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Hollywood has earned world recognition for its unparalleled display of beauty and glamour.
Contributing to the sparkle on the runway this year were the exquisite jewellery designs by renowned international jeweller, Mouawad.
Around $25 million of Mouawad diamond jewellery were used to adorn the annual Fantasy Bra set for the runway.
Each masterpiece was individually selected to complement the intricate designs and respective theme of each look.
Models wearing Mouawad designs on the runway included Victoria's Secret Angels Karolina Kurkova, wearing a stunning 100-carat diamond necklace, Alessandra Ambrosio who modelled yellow and white diamond stud earrings with a white diamond necklace.
The most impressive piece of the evening was the 'Fantasy Bra' set designed by Mouawad which including a bra, panty, hair clip, garter and cuff embellished with over 1,662 carats in diamonds, rubies and emeralds, worth $4.5 million.
In theme with the holiday season, the set featured poinsettia and holly detailing across the top of the bra and panty which required over 880 hours of labour to place the 9,000 stones.
Mouawad was founded in 1890 by master watchmaker and family patriarch David Mouawad. The company supplied important jewels to many European royal houses and wealthy individuals.
Today Mouawad continues that tradition in a modern way by adorning the necks, ears and wrists of supermodels, singers, actresses and women of style from across the globe.
Some of the famous faces that have been seen donning Mouawad include Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Mary J Blige , Madonna, Elizabeth Taylor, Liz Hurley, Mariah Carey, Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Tyra Banks, Giselle Bundchen and Karolina Kurkova just to name a few.
