Microsoft Bahrain announced the appointment of Badea Esbai as the company's new country manager this week. Mr Esbai officially assumed his responsibilities on February 3.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr Esbai held the position of country manager of HP for Bahrain and Qatar. He has a strong track record of responding to client needs in the enterprise market across its various sectors and industries.
Microsoft Gulf general manager Charbel Fakhoury said Mr Esbai's 18 years experience in the information technology industry places him in a good position to lead the Microsoft team in Bahrain.
"Mr Esbai is a strong leader with a very successful track record in the industry. He has a firm understanding of the regional landscape that will ensure we fulfil our commitment to customers and partners in Bahrain and help them realise their full potential," said Charbel.
Prior to his role as country manager of HP Bahrain and Qatar, Mr Esbai held numerous roles in different capacities at HP spanning the entire customer engagement functions. He contributed to the success of HP's Product Development Centre in Munich in his position as project manager.
Mr Esbai said he was delighted at the opportunity to work closely with the Microsoft Bahrain team.
"There is great potential in Bahrain in both its private and public sectors with a leadership that is dedicated to harnessing the benefits of technology", he said.
