Dear Stan, Please, please help us find our cat. He has been our 'general manager' for years and we miss him dearly. Scrappy belongs to Arabian Magazines.

He went missing a few weeks ago and has been spotted by local residents. He was hit on the head by a car earlier this year and we fear he may have lost all sense of direction and can't get home. Please ask your readers to get in touch if they see him.

He is skinny and has just one eye.

He also has a medical condition that requires regular medication or he is likely to die from a seizure.

He is also very friendly and totally harmless. If anybody finds him please phone either 39438600 or 39478400.

A reward will be paid.

Many thanks,

Rebecca,

Villa 10, Road 3316,

Mahooz.

Dear Stan,

Thank you for the gymnastics feature in last week's GulfWeekly.

There are many happy kids and parents too! We hope the publicity brings up the level of sports awareness in Bahrain, especially amongst the young ones. It helps when they see young people, their own peers, actively involved and enjoying such activities.

Alfre, by email.

Dear Stan,

The American Women's Association would like to take this opportunity to convey its sincere appreciation and gratitude to everyone for taking time out of their busy schedule to attend our Cherry Tree Trot fun race on Friday, February 29.

We would also like to acknowledge all the sponsors and donors who have extended their services and their contributions to make the event such a success. This success is marked by the total amount of BD50,000 from donations and lucky draw ticket sales, exceeding our expectations.

Your donations have given us the chance to do more charitable work within the community of Bahrain. We are grateful for your help and support.

Thank you goes to all our supporting sponsors that were able to spread the word of charity out for all the community of Bahrain.

A thank you note goes out to all the volunteers, the police band and Krazy Kevin for his enthusiasm and making it enjoyable for the challenged children of Bahrain.

Niveen Bitar,

CTT Public Relations,

American Women's

Association.
