A newly-designed Mazda6 has been unveiled in Bahrain offering a sportier, slicker and safer machine.

The new model is not only more comfortable and easier to use, it is quieter than ever before.

There are three body styles: hatchback, sedan and station wagon. The Þve-door hatchback symbolises the new Mazda6's sporty and sophisticated nature with a ßowing, coupŽ-style silhouette and a six side-window cabin design.

The sedan plays down its three-box form with an arched cabin and short, high tail, giving it a fastback look clearly related to that of the hatchback.

The station wagon features three-dimensional curves that give volume and tension to the side and rear view to achieve a level of stylish design rare in this sort of car.

On the inside, Mazda6 has new active headrests on all grades on the front seats, which lower the load on front seat occupants' neck during a rear impact. Added to this are three-point seat belts, with pretensioners and load limiters in the front, and six airbags.

For pedestrian protection, there is an energy-absorbing space between the bonnet and the engine and structures for impact energy absorption in the cowl grille and fender brackets, which mitigate the chance of serious head injuries.

And the new Mazda6 uses an energy absorption foam in front of the front bumper beam and plastic reinforcements at the bottom of the front bumper, which help lower the chance of leg injuries.

The new Mazda6 was unveiled by executives at International Motor Trading Agency in Isa Town. For further details contact 17875777.
