Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a revised version of the second-generation ML-Class.

The biggest revision is a new front end with a re-profiled bumper, larger projector beam headlamps, a more prominent three slat grille and new fog lamps. Changes at the back are more subtle with a new tail lamp lens design and a deeper bumper.

"The award-winning SUV that created its segment is increasing its popularity in the Middle East and has already racked up impressive sales of 300,000 worldwide since it was launched in 2005," said Frank Bernthaler, director, sales and marketing, Mercedes-Benz Cars, Middle East and Levant.

"Now Mercedes-Benz designers have tweaked its appearance and improved its specifications to boost its appeal."

The revolutionary Mercedes-Benz Pre-Safe occupant protection system and NeckPro anti-whiplash headrests are standard while optional extras are an entertainment and satellite navigation package that includes the company's latest telematics.

Engine choices remain as before, with 3.5 and 5.5-litre petrol units. They are joined by a new version of the range topping 6.2-litre V8 powered ML63 AMG that boasts bold new body styling, standard 20-inch wheels and a revised interior.
