Numerous events will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit during all three F1 days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There will be children's activities and face-painters, strolling jugglers, stilt walkers and mime artists and race simulators and high-thrill rides such as the reverse bungee which offers a panoramic view of the Grand Prix atmosphere.

Other activities throughout the weekend will be the following:

DJ Hoolio and MC Ad-Apt will provide entertainment for guests. The pair has performed internationally alongside well-respected acts at many of the world's major events such as the Soul Survivor.

Nine-piece band Soul-Glo will perform rock, pop, soul and R'n'B music. Amongst the band's recent performances are appearances with Take That, Jamie Cullum alongside a performance at the 2007 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.

Soul-Glo will be accompanied by a dance troupe including members of the cast of Mama Mia, Stomp and Cats.

A high-energy and improvisational painting performance, Paintjam, will be featured by Dan Dunn, an accomplished painter with a national award-winning background in caricature, painting and illustration spanning three decades.

He paints by throwing himself at large canvases in rhythmic frenzy, painting upside down and sideways and revealing the final image with a few well placed strokes and a flip of the canvas. Dan will create 30 paintings of iconic figures such as Tiger Woods, Louis Armstrong and Marilyn Monroe.

Oliver's Water Show - a high dive display from Switzerland presented by four world class Olympic swimmers and gymnasts. The show consists of a series of dives from a 27m high tower with platforms at eight, 10, 14 and 25m and two diving boards.

The displays include Olympic, acrobatic, comedy high dives and fire dives from these platforms into their mobile pool 8m diameter and 3m deep.

The final dive is made from the 25m platform, spinning in the air with somersaults and twists before landing in 3m of water at 60mph.

Oliver Favre holds the World Outdoor High Dive record at 177ft in 1987 and World Indoor High Dive record at 110ft at Earls Court 1997.

Feeding the Fish will present 'Flux' - a spectacle of choreographed colour - where highly technical juggling is fused with dance and cutting-edge technology.

Patterns of light are traced through the air during the high-impact stage show as the balls and clubs change colour in synchronisation with an upbeat musical soundtrack.

The props are programmed precisely to create a variety of colourful shapes and laser beams as they are thrown and manipulated by the jugglers.

Football freestyler Dan Magness will entertain guests with football tricks.

He has performed many half-time shows for football clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, Man City and West Ham and is the regular half-time entertainment for England games. He has also coached top stars such as Arjen Robben, Robbie Keane, Francesco Totti, Roberto Carlos, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney, Djibril Cisse and Freddie Ljungberg.

Master 3D and street artist Kurt Wenner will bring his skills to the grounds of BIC this year. Kurt was employed by NASA as an illustrator to create conceptual paintings of future space projects and extra-terrestrial landscapes. In 1982, he left NASA, sold all of his belongings, and moved to Italy to study art. In 1991, he was commissioned to create a piece to honour the visit of Pope John Paul II to the city of Mantua. The event was broadcast live on television throughout Italy.

A new addition to the aerial entertainment for the 2008 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix is an aerobatic stunt helicopter by American pilot Chuck P Aaron. He is the only pilot licensed in the United States by the Federal Aviation Administration to perform aerobatics in a helicopter.

The machine will entertain the crowd by flying upside down and performing flips, rolls and spins
