Bahraini champion Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, who started his British F3 season with a precious podium, managed to make an achievement by taking two more podiums, but this time in Dubai.

Shaikh Salman, who flew to Dubai from the UK to participate in the Gulf Radical Cup as part of the 6th National Race Day at the Dubai Autodrome where he had testing on Thursday and the qualifying plus two races on Friday.

Shaikh Salman, of 777 Racing, got down to business by taking pole position for Race 1 ahead of Bassam Kronfli (Team Evo Middle East). From the start it was the two championship contenders who led with the Bahraini taking control of proceedings. Kronfli had no answer to the Shaikh Salman's pace and had to settle for second when the flag fell.

In Race 2, Kronfli got a good start with Shaikh Salman filling his rear view mirrors when on lap four the Bahraini made his move under brakes into Turn 1. Thereafter it was Kronfli trailing Shaikh Salman and remained that way until the chequered flag.
