Members of the Dilmun Club in Saar were somewhat disgruntled to learn that a hike in the price of alcoholic beverages sold at the club was not a prank.

The club secretary said: "To those of you who have emailed me asking if the email sent out regarding the increase in beverages is an April Fool's Joke - I can assure you it is not. As stated in the email, alcoholic beverages will have an increase of 100fils, effective from April 1, 2008."

Mike Eastwood the popular chief operating officer of BMMI recently turned 50 and had instructed wife Sorrell that he wanted to celebrate it quietly with the family.

Well as we all know Sorrell doesn't do anything quietly! Mike was led blindfold into the garden to find about 60 good mates and three, yes three, bands. What a good party it was and Whispers picked up loads of good gossip.

Following the Terminal 5 fiasco at Heathrow one BA employee stated: "Whenever in the past BA got into a mess, people helped out, but morale is so low people won't do it any more."

Well, morale at BA is not just low in London over the past few months many experienced staff have left BA in the Gulf all for the same cause, poor management. Looks like the world's favourite is not so favourite with it's staff.
