Shining little stars

Youngsters from Qatar and Bahrain stole the show in the GCC Inter-Club Gymnastics Competition organised by CHAOSS Gymnastics - Bahrain and held at the St Christopher's School, Isa Town.

The children from Qatar's Gym Academy topped seven of the eight floor events and five of the eight vault events to finish top in six of the overall eight rankings, while the youngsters from CHAOSS did well in the vault events pouching three of the eight, they managed to win one of the eight floor events to clinch top place in two of the eight overall rankings.

Two other teams - Olympics Gymnastics Club, Dubai and Repton, Dubai - took part in the event. The stars for the hosts were Rozelle Meier, who won the junior gold vault and floor events, Charis Britton, who clinched the junior silver vault, and Matthew Williams, who won the level 1 boys vault.
