Wednesday (May 21) Film - Sling Blade on Star Movies at 8.30pm. A southern gothic tale about a man named Karl (Billy Bob Thornton), who's just been released from an asylum some 25 years after he committed a gruesome crime. He returns to the southern town of his youth, where his quiet, gentle manner and simple charm land him a job and lead him to an unlikely friendship with a young boy and his widowed mother. But when the mother's abusive boyfriend appears, this simple man is thrust into a combustible dilemma that has powerful, moving consequences for all.

THURSDAY (May 22)

Film - The Lake House on Super Movies at 9pm

Alex Wyler (Keanu Reeves) and Kate Forster (Sandra Bullock) both live in the same glass house by a lake but at different times. Somehow they manage to correspond with each other through letters they write to each other and leave in the house's mail box. They fall in love and plan to meet but nothing in life is simple and things don't quite go as planned.

When your parents are legendary superheroes The Commander and Jetstream, there is only one school for you - Sky High - that is entrusted with the job of transforming today's power-gifted students into tomorrow's superheroes. The problem is that Will Stronghold is starting with no superpowers of his own finds himself relegated to being a "Sidekick". He must somehow survive his freshman year while dealing with an overbearing gym coach.

SATURDAY (May 24)

Film - Honeymoon in Vegas on Star Movies at 8.30pm

Private detective Jack Singer (Nicolas Cage) promised his mother on her deathbed that he would never marry. Now his girlfriend Betsy (Sarah Jessica Parker) is threatening to leave him if he doesn't marry her. Jack decides, despite his fear and guilt, to give in to Betsy's demands. They fly off to Las Vegas where, in an attempt to postpone the wedding, Jack joins in a poker game with professional gambler Tommy Korman (James Caan), who cheats Jack out of $65,000. Tommy offers Jack a deal: if Jack lends Tommy his girlfriend - who coincidentally is the spitting image of Tommy's dead wife - Tommy will forget about Jack's debt.

Documentary - VIP Access: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on Star Movies at 8pm

Host Dominic Lau presents VIP Access, the ultimate backstage pass to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the long-anticipated fourth instalment in the series. Everyone's favourite archaeologist adventurer returns for another globe-trotting trek. In 1957, Indiana Jones ventures into the jungles of South America in a race against Soviet agents to find the mystical Crystal Skull. Like the Ark of the Covenant in Raiders of the Lost Ark, the skulls possess supernatural powers.

Film - A Love Song for Bobby Long on Super Movies at 11pm

Living in a trailer in Florida with a thoughtless and dishonourable man, 18-year-old Pursy (Scarlett Johansson) learns that her estranged mother, Lorraine Will - a singer - has died in New Orleans. When she arrives two days after the funeral she discovers that her mother has left a third of her run-down house to her while the remaining two-thirds have been left to Bobby Long (John Travolta) and Lawson (Gabriel Macht).

TUESDAY (May 27)

Film - The Tic Code on Cinema City at 9pm

Miles Caraday (Christopher George Marquette), is a piano prodigy with Tourette syndrome. He dreams of becoming a jazz pianist despite the objections of his classically-oriented instructor Miss Gimpole. Miles makes friends with a jazz saxophonist, Tyrone Pike (Gregory Hines) at a local nightspot, who also has Tourette's, but has learned to cover it up.
