Wednesday (July 23)Disney's High School Musical begins today till Saturday at the Centrepoint Theatre in Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre at the Mall of the Emirates.

Thursday (July 24)

The Indian Club is organising a summer splash pool party at the Al Qassary Park in Sehla.

The event will start at 8.30pm and is open to members and their families. It will include dinner. Cost is BD2 per head for members while children under the age of five can enter free. Free transport is available at 8pm. Members must register by 10pm on Wednesday at the club.

The club is also inviting interested married Indian women to register for its annual 'Ageless Queen Beauty Pageant' that will be held on July 31 at the club from 9pm.

The contest is in its fourth year and will feature traditional wear and evening wear rounds. Six finalists will compete in the question-answer session and three winners will be announced. An exhibition featuring artworks of young artists begins today at the A'ali Shopping Complex. The IAA and General Directorate of Traffic is hosting the 'Little Picasso' event and is divided into three categories - under seven years, seven to 12 years and 13 to18 years. Saturday (July 26)

Things-To-Do in Budaiya is offering a series of art classes for adults as well as children over the age of seven until July 31. Participants can also learn new artistic techniques. For details contact 17590409.

The Funland Centre at the Marina beach is hosting a summer camp for children aged from seven and above. The camp is being held from 8am to noon from Saturday to Thursday until August 31. The Doy's Taekwondo and Sports Centre is holding a summer camp for children aged from four to 16 in Bukawarah, East Riffa. The Ella Arty Gallery in Hoora is holding summer art classes in all medium sketching and shading, acrylic charcoal, pen and ink, watercolor and oil and pastels. The course is open for children aged eight and above.

Level one is for age group eight to15 and will be held Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.30am to 12.30am.

Level two will consist of age group 15 and above on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm and evening classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm.
