Construction works on a new $800 million real estate project will kick off in Al Fateh neighbourhood in Juffair later this year.
The project, owned by Nomas Enterprises, occupies an area of more than 35,000sq/m. The mixed-use and residential towers act like beacons at more than 60 floors high and their slim, elliptical form means that all apartments gain sea views.
With an under process capital increase to approximately BD200 million, Nomas is expecting the project to be completed by 2010.
The development will be among many future landmark projects that Nomas will be working on.
Nomas managing director Rashid Al Rumaihi said: "This project is a true mixed-use facility on a massive scale combining premium residential apartments and townhouses, three floors of retail and entertainment options, a five-star hotel and boutique waterfront office facility within four towers. This project is Bahrain's new eastern heart of the town.
"The project is an economic, social and environmentally conscious one.
"This will be our first step in the whole scheme of things to come, in the near future, to provide the people of Bahrain with a one-stop-shop mega structure for all their needs, from residential luxury apartments and office spaces to leisure and fun activity centres."
