Riffa Views supremo Richard Browning is preparing to hand over the reins of the project with a European company coming in to complete the handover of the development.
Riffa Views announced this week that it has signed a partnership agreement with Spanish development company Layetana to 'provide extra senior management resource as the project moves into its final stages'.
Layetana, which has been established more than 40 years, will support the completion of the project including the handover the 1,000 plus villas.
Mr Browning, who has established a high-profile as Riffa Views chief executive officer, is now almost at the end of his involvement with the project which, at one stage saw him apologising for delays in the handover of properties caused by the cement shortage.
He will be carrying out an in depth handover to the Layetana team who will then take over management to see the development through to completion.
Mr Browning said: "During 2008 the project suffered delays as a aresult of the shortage of building materials which was experienced by the entire construction sector throughout Bahrain.
"However we worked hard to manage the situation and have subsequently seen important milestones being achieved.
"This is a very important stage as the project becomes real for many people and we believe that the addition of Layetana to the management team will improve the experience four our homeowners over the months ahead.
"I have now substantially reached the completion of my agreement with Riffa Views, which has been one of the most satisfying experiences in my career to date and I am very happy that my exit, in due course, will be a seamless one for the home owners."
