Interleague play continues this week in Major League Baseball with four intriguing match-ups featured.
Leading off, the Chicago Cubs, led by pitcher Carlos Zambrano and outfielder Kosuke Fukudome, take on the Detroit Tigers. The Tigers appear to have returned to the form that was expected last year, but never materialised.
Then the red-hot, Albert Pujols-led St Louis Cardinals take on the equally blazing New York Mets. Closing out the week is the battle of Florida as the Marlins take on last year's playoff team, Tampa Bay followed by the Red Sox versus the resurgent Atlanta Braves.

Major League Soccer
This week's MLS game of the week features the defending MLS champion Columbus Crew against the New York Red Bulls, two teams that have struggled to live up to their lofty expectations after last year's success.
The Crew waited until the eighth game of the season before tallying their first win, putting them at the bottom of their division and wondering what happened to their success of 2008.
The Red Bulls had troubles of their own winning just two games in their first nine. But both teams have turned things around of late.
These two teams are still talented and both figure to have a say in the playoffs before the year is done as the Eastern Division is still tightly grouped.
