STAFF members at a Bahrain cinema complex are working overtime to deal with Michael Jackson mania surrounding the release of the late superstar's eagerly-awaited movie.

Beginning next Wednesday, the world will have a front-row seat for Michael Jackson's final concert, as Sony release the entertainer's last work This Is It.

It is being screened exclusively at the Dana Cinema Complex in the kingdom and Samir Zahar, marketing manager of Dana Mall said: "Our staff has been working overtime to keep up with the response we have been getting. Our phones haven't stopped ringing. The demand has been amazing.

"We have had a lot of bookings but haven't released the tickets yet because we are waiting for the reel to come in first. It is on its way and I am confident it will run to packed houses from the first day onwards."

This Is It is being produced with the full support of Jackson's Estate and will be drawn from hundreds of hours of rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage.

The film, which will also offer select sequences in 3-D, will provide a unique career retrospective and feature interviews with some of Jackson's closest friends and creative collaborators.

During his extraordinary career, Jackson, who resided in Bahrain for a short time, sold an estimated 750 million records worldwide.
