A movie night will be held at the La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Arts in Manama on December 8 featuring 'The Nutcracker Ballet' at 7pm. The Christmas ballet by the Bolshoi Ballet, tells the story of a young girl Clara, who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a fierce battle against a Mouse King with seven heads. The music of Astor Pantale—n Piazzolla, an Argentine tango composer and bandone—n player, will be brought to life at a festive concert featuring violinist Angela Amirian and pianist Olga Aoust at the Alumni Club on December 10. Mrs Amirian is based in Bahrain and has performed widely in North America, Europe and across the Middle East, winning a number of awards. Eventscom will host first Treasure Hunt Recyclable Fashion Show on December 11 at the Lagoon in Amwaj Islands, as part of its sixth annual Environmental Treasure Hunt Campaign. The Treasure Hunt Campaign, with the theme "Changing Behaviour Towards The Environment', consists of a series of events which all aim to raise environmental awareness. The judging panel will include Huda Al Karooni, head of Art and Design Division at the Bahrain Training Institute, Zakariya Khonji, PR head of the Commission, Zahraa Taher, founder and CEO of Eventscom as well as select local designers, artists, businessmen and women.
