Wednesday (Jan 27) Film - Maid in Manhattan on Fox Movies at 11pm.

Marisa Ventura (Jennifer Lopez) is a struggling single mom who works at a posh Manhattan hotel and dreams of a better life for her and her young son. One fateful day hotel guest and senatorial candidate Christopher Marshall (Ralph Fiennes) meets Marisa and mistakes her for a wealthy socialite. After an enchanting evening together the two fall madly in love. But when Marisa's true identity is revealed issues of class and social status threaten to separate them. Can two people from very different worlds overcome their differences and live happily?

Film - Fever Pitch on Fox Movies at 9pm.

High-school teacher Ben Wrightman (Jimmy Fallen) is a good catch. He's charming, funny and great with kids. When he meets Lindsey Meeks (Drew Barrymore), an ambitious business consultant whose spirit is as luminous as her beauty, their attraction is immediate. Sure, they have their differences. She's a workaholic; he loves his summers off. He lives and breathes the Red Sox; she doesn't know Carl Yastrzemski from Johnny Damon. But true love overcomes all - at least until Red Sox spring training rolls around.

After their adoptive mother is murdered during a grocery store hold-up, the Mercer brothers - hotheaded Bobby, hard-edged Angel, family man and businessman Jeremiah, and hard rocking Jack - reunite to take the matter of her death into their own hands. As they track down the killer, they quickly realise that their old ways of doing business have new consequences. They must put aside their sibling rivalry if they are to find a way to survive avenging the death of their mother.

Film - Hollywoodland on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

In this based-on-fact tale, the mysterious and unexpected death of an iconic Hollywood star leads a private detective to uncover a scandalous affair and learn about the pitfalls of celebrity. George Reeves (Ben Affleck) was a struggling actor when he was cast as comic-book hero Superman in a 1951 movie. A year later, the producers turned Superman into a TV series and turned Reeves into an instant star. Eight years later, though, Reeves was found dead. Police declared the actor's death a suicide, but his mother refused to believe her son took his own life.

MONDAY (Feb 1)

Handsome, wealthy and charismatic, New York City publishing executive David Aames (Tom Cruise) leads a charmed life. But one night David makes a small mistake that causes him to lose Sofia (Penelope Cruz), the girl of his dreams. In his search for her, David is thrust unexpectedly into a rollercoaster ride of romance, sex, lies and suspicion that results in his ex-girlfriend's suicide and a car accident that leaves David hideously disfigured. Soon, however, his luck seems to change when Sofia declares her love for him. But then strange things begin to happen.
