Buying a brand new luxury villa in Victory Heights, which is located within the world's first sporting city, offers excellent value for money compared with homes situated in similar Dubai residential communities, its developers claim.

On average, a villa in the golfing community that surrounds the award-winning The Els Club 18-hole golf course in Dubai Sports City, costs 1,100 dirhams per square foot, which is around 200 dirhams cheaper per square foot than other similar villa developments in the Emirate.

To date over 770 villas have been sold in the 961-unit development, which is on track to hand-over 50 per cent of completed properties to homeowners in early 2010, despite the economic slowdown of 2009.

"People can buy a brand new villa in Victory Heights at a significantly better price than they would for an older, similar home in one of the more established residential communities in Dubai," claimed Lindsey Russell, managing director of real estate firm Gulf Platinum Properties, which sells properties across Dubai.

"Victory Heights' villas offer excellent value for money at a time when people are looking for good quality homes at discounted rates. The potential to get a great bargain at Victory Heights has led to an increase in interest from buyers across Dubai, and as a result we are predicting that prices could move higher within the coming months."

Due to its location within Dubai Sports City, residents at Victory Heights can enjoy an active lifestyle amid peaceful surroundings, with villas offering beautiful views of the golfing-greens and lakes of The Els Club course.

"Victory Heights offers families a great place to live. If you are into an active lifestyle and enjoy sports then there are world-class facilities for golf, cricket, soccer and hockey right on the doorstep. At the same time, the development offers residents peace and quiet, with plenty of green spaces to enjoy, making you feel as if you are a million miles away form the hustle and bustle of Dubai," said Talal Chihabi, head of sales and marketing.

Victory Heights is within walking distance of The Butch Harmon School of Golf, where both beginners and seasoned players can work on their game. Just five minutes drive away is the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, where national and international cricket and football matches are played, while five sporting academies offering world-class coaching to children of all ages in football, hockey, rugby, swimming, and cricket are due to open in early 2010.

The villas in the development are built in three different styles; authentic Spanish Andalusian, bold Mediterranean and classic European styles.
