Bahrain-based Sabre Travel Network Middle East (STNME) is expanding its presence in the Middle East by partnering with Kanoo Travel to become the first Global Distribution System operating in Iraq.
Kanoo Travel, the largest travel agency group in the Middle East, will distribute Sabre's travel technology solutions through a General Sales Agent structure.
The partnership will give Iraq agencies access to Sabre's solutions, including global content from hundreds of airlines and thousands of hotels, car rental companies, tour operators and cruise liners.
Daniel Naoumovitch, chief executive officer, STNME, said: "We are excited about this new venture and the opportunity to provide Iraqi agencies with new technology capabilities."

Kanoo Travel has over 180 IATA locations in the region and travel agencies in the Middle East use Sabre's technology solutions to make and save money and optimise their services to travellers.
