The seventh Bahrain International Property Exhibition (BIPEX 2010) opens its doors tomorrow to investors and home-seekers at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre for its annual three-day property bonanza.
The organisers believe confidence is growing in the sector as more affordable homes become available in the region. The expo, organised by the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE), is being held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
President of the BSE, A Majeed Al Gassab, said: "Our endeavour over the years has been to make BIPEX a powerful and influential voice in this region's property sector.
"We are proud to say that we have achieved a fair measure of success in this respect, with the event serving as a prime source of market intelligence and information. BIPEX has been progressively attracting an increasing number of stakeholders - investors, developers, business people, policy makers and the general public."
A highlight of this year's expo is the technical property seminar that will provide detailed information to potential investors. The seminar will be held on Saturday from 5pm to 8pm and will cover topics such as 'Challenges in the Real Estate Market and 'Enhancing Value in Real Estate'.
Also BIPEX is sporting a new brand identity with the tagline 'Help build the future habitat'. The exhibition will be open from 10am to 9pm on all three days. Admission is free.
