LUXURIOUS Lexus cars will be placed on display in a classy showroom to be opened in the kingdom immediately after the Eid holidays this month.
The BD4.5 million 6,000 square metres Ebrahim K Kanoo (EKK) complex in Sitra will boast custom-made facilities including touch screen technology to help customers choose the colour of their new cars.
Twenty extra staff members have been recruited for the showroom which includes conference facilities and a cafŽ for customers.
"Our aim is to increase customer satisfaction and meet a growing demand for the Lexus range," said Ismail Akbar, executive general manager of sales.
Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. First introduced in 1989 in the US, Lexus is now sold globally and has become Japan's largest-selling make of premium cars with 15,000 already on the road in Bahrain and sales of around 200 a month.
