THE new Mercedes C Class was unveiled at Al Haddad Motors in Isa Town at the weekend attracting more than 200 guests.
Mercedes-Benz says it is one of the most comprehensive models ever made and aims to set new standards of quality.
"In terms of drive and protection systems the new-generation C-Class offers the same comfort and safety as our luxury models. And, with numerous high-grade features in the interior that remind one of the new CLS, the C-Class sets completely new standards in its segment with respect to perceived value and quality," said Frank Bernthaler, sales & marketing director, Mercedes-Benz Cars, Middle East & Levant.
Not only does the new C Class boast being one of the most comfortable models on the market, it has also been designed to be kinder to the environment as fuel consumption has been lowered by 31 per cent compared to its predecessor.
The exterior retains the classic Mercedes-Benz aesthetic, although the front and rear sections have a more striking design than the previous model.
Further efficiency-enhancing measures from the German car giant include new engines, an improved automatic transmission and 10 new driving assistance systems.
The new C Class starts from BD15,500.
