During the Second World War battle of Stalingrad, two snipers, a Russian and a German, are locked in a battle of wills and marksmanship, while the Russian is boosted to the status of hero by a political official. Vassili is a marksman from the Urals who is transported to Stalingrad in 1942. He joins forces with Danilov, a young Russian political adversary. They both become involved with Tanya and begin to develop traps for each other, until fate inevitably must bring the two sharpshooters together.

Years have passed since the Three Musketeers – Aramis, Athos and Porthos – fought together with their friend D’Artagnan. The arrogant, tyrannical King Louis XIV is unaware that his loyal protector and informant, D’Artagnan, is the secret lover of his mother, Queen Anne. Louis’ younger twin brother, Philippe is the man in the iron mask, imprisoned for the past six years. Arthos and Porthos plan to free Philippe, abduct Louis and replace him by putting Philippe on the throne.

Miraculously, The Bride survives a bullet to the head and, four years later, she sets out for revenge against her four assassins and their employer.
