As part of the Tamil festival which began last week, the Indian Club will host a ‘Cookery Night’ at 8pm featuring live demonstrations and a cooking competition.
The club will host a cricket tournament tomorrow from 8pm entitled ‘Chennaikku Whistle Podu’.
A grand light musical with live orchestra will be held at 6.30pm on Friday featuring Tamil films presented by local artistes.

Auditions for the fourth Nescafé Show ‘Em What U Got competition will be held today, tomorrow, October 20 and 21 at Virgin Megastore, Bahrain City Centre.
It will be followed by two elimination rounds on October 27 and 28 at the Cultural Hall, next to Bahrain National Museum.

‘In Celebration of Women’, a collection of new paintings by Seana Mercedes Mallen, is being held at the World Beat Café in Janabiya. Seana has been drawing from life and exhibiting her vibrant artwork internationally for over 30 years and has been living and working on the island for the past six years. The exhibition, held in support of Think Pink, will be running until November 10 during the café hours – from 8am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm. A portion of all profits will go to the charity.
