Gulf Weekly Soccer action in five-star comfort

The European Championships have captured the hearts of football fans and the choice of where to watch the action has never been wider with luxury lounges, sheesha cafes, hotel bars and expat clubs all getting into the action and offering big screen viewing.

The Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre has opened its new Bizarre Lounge especially for the tournament and is offering a luxurious five-star option to the discerning supporter who enjoys soccer with a touch of style.

The menu is presented on a match day football, of course, and offers fish ’n’ chips at BD4.500, meat balls at BD4 or club sandwiches at BD6 and a variety of other bar meals.

Customers neatly order drinks by raising an arm clutching a red card for shots or yellow card for bottles and outlet manager Katharina von Sassen or one of her team will swiftly pass the order to the table.

The seats are luxurious, the atmosphere welcoming, and the picture and sound quality for the big screen action impeccable.
