Bahrain City Centre (BCC) is celebrating the month of Ramadan with a traditional village display at the Galleria entertaining children with daily activities including Ramadan themed pottery, origami and telescope making, folklore storytelling from the Quran and the prophet’s lives, puppet shows by Al Bayader Theatre, games of carom and dominoes, a Gergaon celebration with a traditional band and live shows, traditional handicrafts by the Bahrain Productive Families and henna art as well as other games. Visitors have the opportunity to win a gift card worth BD25 if they upload a photo of their henna art onto BCC’s Facebook or Twitter pages. Bahrain Science Centre in Isa Town has organised summer workshops designed to develop essential life skills for children, with a wide range of science-based activities including science shows, story-telling, crafts and educational games.
