Story:
Buba is an auto repairman living in Niger with his brother Mukela. Their village is mired in poverty but they decide to travel to Spain as Buba has an unbelievable talent playing football and believes he can do it professionally. Not being able to travel into Europe legally, they pay a smuggler $1,000 each to ride them into Algeria where they can easily pass into Spain. They meet Violeta along the way, who is escaping an arranged marriage. The three ultimately find themselves stranded in the desert 14 kilometres away from their destination. But with no navigation they have little hope of survival.
