Infinitely cool crossover

This was my first time behind the wheel of a vehicle bearing the Infiniti marque and not only was the performance of the new JX Crossover superior to my usual runaround, its design was infallible and its drivability had an infectious ability to make me smile.

I was even impressed with the ease of stepping into the car, unlike some other SUVs which involve a certain amount of mountaineering!
 
This spacious seven-seater looks good on the outside and is simply spectacular on the inside, with classy leather interior upholstery and trim.

The 13-speaker Bose sound system proved pleasurable too as an avid lover of music, especially when stuck in Bahrain’s inevitable traffic jams with time on my hands, together with a 9.3 GB music box and USB port.

I put the Infiniti JX Crossover through its paces, accelerating and cornering to my heart’s content on my way to appointments across the island. 

I found its power and road handling excellent and a very smooth ride with low engine noise. 

This is the ideal vehicle for the whole family to enjoy on days out. It will also handle the monthly shopping trips to the mall and there is also plenty of room for designer goodies to pack into its spacious boot.

The gadgets were all user friendly, well placed and the remote control start button is a bonus. 

The engine is a 3.5 litre 24-valve V6 and the vehicle boasts intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD). It has parking guide with a voice guidance and line markings, Bluetooth hands-free phone system and an Infiniti hard drive navigation system with an eight-inch colour touch screen display and lane guidance, around view monitor with moving objects detection and front and rear sonar system. 

Additional safety features include child seat mounting points in the second row seats and child seat top tether anchors. You see too many small children climbing around the driver and passenger in the front seats of cars on the roads of Bahrain and this is one feature which will make life easier for parents who care about the well-being of their children. 

I enjoyed the whole driving experience tremendously and was very sad to give it back.

The starting price of the JX Crossover is BD19,995 – excellent value when you look at all the features and benefits of this classy vehicle.
