By far, the most common resolution every year is to lose weight. But what makes people so good at breaking that resolution?
One of my clients told me yesterday that she cannot lose weight because she loves food too much. But if that’s the case, does that mean everyone who’s slim doesn’t really like food? I don’t think so.
The reason you cannot lose weight is because you don’t know how. Let’s face it; we were taught a lot of things in school and college, but nothing about how to take care of our own body!
And guess what happens to a project that you don’t know how to run? It fails. Miserably. And you start procrastinating and avoiding it until it becomes a long-forgotten resolution.
Why don’t you start by choosing one thing that you’ll do to improve your health today? Let me suggest one: hydrate your body because dehydration can make you retain water and look fatter. So drink up. Starting now – lots and lots of water – throughout the day.
