Diab Sager Al Noaimi demonstrated his quality play, coming home well clear on a gross-68, nett-63, as the overall winner in one of Awali Golf Club’s longest standing competitions – the Abdulla Ali Kanoo Cup, now in its 45th year.
Al Noaimi also took home the medal for best gross score.
Sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo, a large field of players enjoyed another day of light winds and blue skies.
A glittering array of prizes with a theme of garden lanterns were presented by Ahmed Abdulla Kanoo, son of the late chairman, in whose honour the competition is now named.
