VIVA recently hosted a briefng session for schools in Bahrain to encourage them to join in one of the largest football scouting programmes ever staged in the kingdom.
The Viva Manchester United Soccer Schools programme is offering an opportunity of a lifetime to 22 young players to live their footballing dream and play and train at one of the world’s top training camps.
At the session, principals and sports teachers gathered to gain an insight into the initiative which offers children aged 13 to 15 an opportunity to show off their footballing talent through a series of selection challenges, including an inter-school tournament.
Schools across Bahrain have a chance to nominate and register teams until Saturday at the Viva Manchester United zone, Bahrain City Centre and compete in a nationwide tournament that will help select the talented youngsters for football training in the UK.
