The Three Sopranos – Erika Nottingham Rawles, Sian Brown and Anna Thompson-Hall – will be giving a recital with baritone Andrew Wenner at 6pm at St Christopher’s Cathedral in Manama. They will be accompanied on the piano by Dana Smith and will be performing well-known opera arias and duets as well as musical theatre. Tickets cost BD5.

The Boxtones will be headlining the British Club’s annual Spring Ball in Adliya. The band features Gary Tierney, lead guitarist, and his sister Gill, on drums – both former pupils at St Christopher’s School. Gary’s fance Louise Peel is lead vocalist, with Patrick Thibault playing bass and Will Janssen on keyboards.
The band will be supported by jazz quartet Louche Manouche plus award-winning musicians Jason Chasland and Alex Farrell-Davey. The event includes dinner with live cooking stations featuring a variety of international cuisine priced at BD20 for members and BD25 for guests.
