The Three Sopranos – Erika Nottingham Rawles, Sian Brown and Anna Thompson-Hall – will be giving a recital with baritone Andrew Wenner at 6pm at St Christopher’s Cathedral in Manama. They will be accompanied on the piano by Dana Smith and will be performing well-known opera arias and duets as well as musical theatre. Tickets cost BD5.

The Boxtones will be headlining the British Club’s annual Spring Ball in Adliya. The band features Gary Tierney, lead guitarist, and his sister Gill, on drums – both former pupils at St Christopher’s School. Gary’s fance Louise Peel is lead vocalist, with Patrick Thibault playing bass and Will Janssen on keyboards.

The band will be supported by jazz quartet Louche Manouche plus award-winning musicians Jason Chasland and Alex Farrell-Davey. The event includes dinner with live cooking stations featuring a variety of international cuisine priced at BD20 for members and BD25 for guests. Party goers put on your 10-gallon hats, dig out your cowboy boots and iron your favourite chequered shirt as the Hotel Diva’s Davy Crockett’s in Juffair celebrates its second birthday in style with another one of its Wild West theme. Featuring live entertainment with Canadian band, Overnight Sensation, festivities start at 8pm and Wild West fancy dress is optional. Prizes will be handed out for the best dressed revellers. The Bahrain for All, All for Bahrain free community event will take place in Prince

Khalifa bin Salman Park in Hidd from 4pm. Expat clubs will stage cultural shows and street performers will keep visitors entertained. Children’s activities and more than 100 market stalls will be selling food, books, clothes and jewellery.

The Batelco Mega Fair 13, open from 11am to 11pm, will feature musical performances by Bollywood singer Benny Dayal, playback singer Swetha Mohan, Stephen Devassy and the 10-strong Solid Band at the Indian School in Isa Town.
