YOU’RE just about to jump in the car for a dinner engagement when you hear an almighty squeak from the engine department.

It doesn’t make sense, earlier on in the day the motor was purring along perfectly.

You jump out of the car, open the bonnet and out jumps a startled stray cat.

If that wasn’t a shock enough you spot little paws fleeing in all directions into every gap and space of your beloved Toyota Prado.

Obviously the family of moggies have good taste and thought owners Hussain and Michaela Al Khalo of Harmony Jewels in the Gold Souq would be good for some sparkling diamond-encrusted collars!
The family knew something was amiss as soon as they heard Tia, their pet Shiatsu, barking noisily at the car. The new residents of Saraya 2 have been named Diesel, Petrol, Dip Stick, Mumtaz and Jayad.

Shame they didn’t make a home in Hussain’s new VW Passat, as it could easily have been changed into a Pussat!
