MOTORING technology lovers have until tomorrow to enjoy the latest innovations showcased in a 40-foot trailer and brought to the island by Almoayyed Motors, the distributor of Ford in Bahrain.
The trailer, right, contains three simulators showing examples of unique advancements. A ‘MyFord’ Touch station is featured in each simulator, allowing participants to engage with a voice-activated system that is connected to their mobile phones and MP3 players.
It also allows them to interact with the easily accessible control buttons on the steering wheel and eight-inch touch-screen.
Sandeep Mathur, general manager at Almoayyed Motors, said: “Technological advancements are the biggest selling points in the automotive industry. As a renowned brand, we want to demonstrate Ford’s hi-tech breakthroughs and allow our consumers to experience them first hand through our tech tour that will be hosted in various locations throughout the kingdom.”
